An eight-year dream hits the perfect note as Church360 in Texas upgrades to a concert-ready Meyer Sound system
Church360 has dramatically transformed its 2700-seat main sanctuary with a new audio setup from Meyer Sound. The PANTHER large-format linear line array system now supports weekly worship services to concerts and conferences.
This upgrade is the culmination of an eight-year vision by Steve Constantino, technical director and lead audio engineer at the church. “When I first started here, the existing system was already at the end of its life,” Constantino said.
Inspired by the installation of a Meyer Sound LEOPARD system in a student ministry building, Constantino decided to use Meyer Sound for the most recent upgrade. Additionally, Constantino’s experience with the PANTHER system reinforced the decision to use this setup.
The final design for the sanctuary centres around dual arrays of ten PANTHER loudspeakers as the main hangs, supported by LEOPARD arrays for side coverage. The system is driven by 11 Galileo GALAXY processors, with a robust Milan AVB network supporting signal transport and system monitoring.
One of the most striking improvements afforded by this upgrade is in speech intelligibility. “It doesn’t sound like the pastor is coming through a PA system – it sounds like he’s just talking to you in the room,” said Constantino. The upgrade has also improved the audio in Church360’s live stream, which reaches more than 2500 people weekly.

The system was installed this spring and tuned in two phases
The project also includes a nod to Meyer Sound’s legacy line. Discontinued CAL column speakers were specially built for the lobby, helping the space match the clarity of the main sanctuary.
The system was shaped by close collaboration between Constantino, David Leuschner of AV integrator Pro Audio Video, and Meyer Sound. “This was a rare project where the integrator, manufacturer and end user all aligned,” said Leuschner. “And when that happens, it’s magic.”
Church360 joins other venues such as Grace Community Church in choosing Meyer Sound’s PANTHER system for their audio upgrades.
