Over 100 Inspire Series projectors from Christie have been deployed to bring high-impact science experiences to museum visitors
New installations at Shenzhen Science and Technology Museum in Guangming District deliver vibrant visuals that transform the museum into an interactive journey. Christie’s partners Jianye Display and Shanghai Qingying Digital Technology have produced this futuristic feel with the arrangement of more than 100 Inspire Series 1DLP laser projectors across multiple exhibition halls.
The museum is themed around ‘Digital Civilization,’ with architecture inspired by a giant spacecraft. The space houses four halls featuring 950 exhibits, over 80% of which are interactive. Since its opening, the museum has drawn more than one million visitors in just three months, establishing itself as a leading hub for science in the area.
The Christie Inspire Series delivers bright, high-contrast images with quiet, low-maintenance performance. Designed for long-term use in busy venues, it also includes smart tools that make multi-projector setup and alignment easy.
Christie DWU960-iS and DWU860-iS projectors drive ultra-wide and interactive displays that let visitors explore nature and game-like environments. Additional exhibits use DWU760-iS projectors to highlight the latest in communication technologies.
“We are privileged to participate in this landmark project,” said a representative from Jianye Display. “The Christie projectors delivered exceptional brightness, contrast, and stability, ensuring each exhibit met the high visual standards required for this venue.”

Projections in the “Communications Technology Pavilion” attract visitors' attention
Han Kim, vice president for Sales at Asia-Pacific Christie, said, “We are honoured to work with Jianye Display and Shanghai Qingying on this significant project. The Inspire Series has become a trusted solution for museums and science venues thanks to its exceptional image quality, reliability, and ease of maintenance.” Other projects in China are also making the most of Christie technology, such as Huabohui Scenic Spot in Wuhan.
