The new, Gemini-powered Ask AId3n provides the tech for users to deliver immersive visuals in a fraction of the time
Disguise has announced a major update to its AI-powered workflow assistant for Designer Pro, Ask AId3n. This update enables production teams to sequence repetitive or technical tasks at a click of a button. With this level up, the programming behind concerts, theatre shows, corporate events, virtual productions can be easily streamlined.
Powered by Google's Gemini 2.5 Pro, Ask AId3n lets Designer Pro users type questions into a chat-based interface. From there, the tool can make direct changes to a project file. For example, users could instruct Ask AId3n to set up the screen and stage for a particular venue. They could then tell Ask AId3n to create layers and keyframes for every musical beat in the show. Moreover, all tools generated by Ask AId3n are stored in users’ Disguise Cloud accounts and are accessible to anyone across the same Disguise Cloud.
“With this new update, we’re excited to help Designer Pro users continue making the most of what AI can offer,” said Peter Kirkup, innovation director at Disguise. “Ask AId3n is now a true workflow assistant, with the ability to execute tasks. It’s your instant expert, on hand to not just answer questions, but also handle everything from configuring LED screens to sequencing your timeline or setting up networked machines.”
Ask AId3n automates technical tasks like project builds and creates custom tools without any coding. It allows quick fixes by either editing the generated code manually or using AI to correct it. Trained on the Disguise User Guide, it also offers fast, reliable troubleshooting for Designer-related questions.
Ask AId3n is now available as a plugin for all Designer Pro users. Find out more at disguise.one/en/products/designer/ask-aid3n.
