The partnership between Vizrt and Midwich aims to empower storytellers across Southeast Asia
Vizrt, with its experience in real-time graphics and live production solutions, has recently announced its partnership with Midwich, a leading distribution company in Singapore. With a growing demand for broadcast-grade capabilities, this partnership intends to offer live production solutions for content creators in Southeast Asia.
The focus of this collaboration is on the Southeast Asian media tech market. The significant growth of live production experiences in this region, driven by content such as eSports, entertainment fixtures and hybrid events, highlights the importance of this partnership.
Vizrt and Midwich’s combined effort will help to supply productions with powerful technology, including the switcher line TriCaster, video conversion tools Viz Connect, and PTZ cameras.
Midwich is already working with over 300 dealers to supply content creators with innovative solutions. Dan Fletcher, managing director at Midwich, underscores the importance of partnering with Vizrt to distribute high-quality products to storytellers in Southeast Asia, “The partnership with Vizrt means we strengthen our offering, as Vizrt’s suite of products and solutions deliver – from the accessibility of the Go products up to the Woah of the graphics!”
By distributing Vizrt’s large portfolio of products, including the TriCaster line, Midwich helps content creators meet their requirements, no matter where they are on their production journey. “Vizrt’s versatile video solutions empower compelling and engaging content creation at every level, while also meeting ever-evolving live production needs,” says Paul Shutt, head of channel sales at Vizrt.
The TriCaster Mini S is a software-based live production system, designed as an entry-level solution for those passionate about video storytelling. TriCaster Vizion, on the other hand, is a complete live production system that offers a flexible solution for broadcasters, sports networks, live events, corporations, education institutions, and more.
Midwich and Vizrt align in their goal of prioritising customer support and services for users. As Shutt explains, “Our partners are essential in delivering the latest innovations to content creators of all sizes, ensuring our mutual growth and local support to the end-user.”
To further strengthen the Vizrt partner network, Midwich is working towards becoming a certified partner in Vizrt’s extensive graphics portfolio. This will help expand its offerings to live productions across the region. With a growing number of certified partners worldwide, continuing investment in the Vizrt Partner Program is a key focus for the company in 2025.
