Sam’s Club enhances the shopping experience in Mexico by deploying 100 Christie laser projectors
Christie is excited to announce the successful deployment of its 1DLP Inspire Series laser projectors in 100 Sam’s Club stores throughout Mexico. This initiative is part of the retailer's ongoing digital transformation, aimed at enriching the shopping experience for customers.
The installation is a pivotal element of the DUBAI project (Digital Unit for Better Activation in Club), which focuses on digitising Sam’s Club's advertising spaces by integrating various digital displays across its locations. This includes LED totems, screens, posters, and a robust network of projectors.
FGL Asociados, the agency responsible for the project's design and development, emphasises that these new digital displays allow brands to effectively communicate their messages across multiple channels, enhance sales, and add value to the customer journey. Francisco Gonzalez Legorreta of FGL Asociados notes, “With these in-store digital displays, brands can connect dynamically with customers and guide them towards special offers or specific sections within the stores.”
Christie DWU760A-iS laser projectors were specifically selected for this rollout, providing 7,175 lumens and WUXGA resolution in a low-maintenance design. These projectors have been strategically mounted on the ceilings of the 100 Sam’s Club stores, projecting dynamic advertisements and engaging content onto the store floors.
Convergint Mexico facilitated the integration of the projectors after a thorough selection process, where Christie's laser models were deemed the preferred choice.
Gonzalez Legorreta praised the Christie Inspire projector for its combination of high performance and minimal maintenance at a competitive price. "Its silent operation and omnidirectional installation capabilities make it easy to integrate into any setup," he stated. The projectors also boast laser illumination, ensuring up to 20,000 hours of reliable performance.
The Christie Inspire Series is proving to be an invaluable asset in this digital transformation. “Its ability to project crisp, vibrant images from the ceiling to the floor captures customers’ attention effectively,” he added. “Moreover, its high brightness level ensures that ads and visual content remain clear and eye-catching, even in brightly lit retail environments.”
Christie’s Inspire Series features fixed-lens 1DLP laser projectors with WUXGA or 4K UHD resolution, offering 24/7 operation and IP5X dust-resistant optical engines. With brightness levels ranging from 7,150 to 9,600 lumens, these projectors are designed for up to 20,000 hours of virtually maintenance-free operation, further enhancing the shopping experience at Sam’s Club.
