Breggz debuts first IMAX Enhanced wireless in-ear headphones
Breggz is making headlines as its Zohn-1 wireless earbuds become the first in-ear headphones certified by IMAX Enhanced, redefining immersive audio on the go
At CES 2026, Amsterdam-based audio specialist Breggz announced a partnership with IMAX and DTS to visitors. Through this collaboration, its Zohn-1 wireless in-ear headphones become the first to receive IMAX Enhanced certification.
IMAX Enhanced certification ensures devices meet high standards to deliver immersive experiences on screens around the world. For Breggz, the certification marks the first time IMAX Enhanced has been applied to in-ear hearables, extending the programme beyond TVs, mobiles and home audio devices.
The Zohn-1 represents a shift in what in-ear headphones are expected to deliver. "Artists and filmmakers spend significant time and effort to deliver the best possible audio quality, but hearing the poor sound quality of in-ear hearables puts all that hard work and creative intent to waste – this is why I had to introduce the Zohn-1," says singer, artist and Breggz founder Xander de Buisonjé.
The Zohn-1 introduces four key audio principles to wireless in-ear headphones: anatomical fit, balanced acoustic drivers, advanced microprocessing and personalisation. Designed for how people watch and listen today, Breggz and IMAX hope that this partnership will create a more personal and immersive connection to fans.
