MPTS has opened registration for its upcoming show featuring an expanded programme of content
Registration is live for the Media Production and Technology Show (MPTS), returning to Olympia London on 14–15 May 2025. Following a record-breaking year in 2024, MPTS 2025 is set to host 300 exhibitors and sponsors, 100 live sessions and 12,000 attendees.
Expanding across two levels within the historic building’s Grand Hall, the event will feature exciting zones, networking spaces and seminar areas for those in the broadcast media, production and technology industries.
Debuting for the first time this year, the new AI Media Zone will showcase a dedicated theatre, while the Broadcast Sport Zone will focus on live sports. Alongside these areas, a packed seminar programme, including The Media Technology Conference in partnership with SMPTE, is set to take place.
With attendees expected to arrive from 52 different countries, MPTS aims to facilitate connections through multiple large networking areas, including an expanded gallery level and sponsor lounge.
MPTS will host returning and new exhibitors for 2025, among them a notable collaboration between Nikon and first-time exhibitor RED. “Following a successful debut at MPTS, Nikon is eager to return and further engage with the vibrant community of media producers, technology leaders, and content creators,” said Peter Alderson, B2B manager at Nikon. “Our joint booth with RED will feature hands-on demonstrations of our groundbreaking imaging technologies, including the latest in digital cameras, and lenses.”
The event is prioritising accessibility. “MPTS is the authoritative destination for creatives and technologists to unite and share in the future of the UK’s media and entertainment industry, accessible to all as registration and our leading content programme remain free,” said Charlotte Wheeler, director at MPTS. Attendees can also access over 100 hours of exclusive and free-to-attend sessions across eight themed theatres including Keynote, Production and Broadcast Technology.
