Light takes flight at ISE 2026 with 600-drone show
Step outside at ISE 2026 and witness the Drone Show light up Barcelona’s skyline in a breathtaking fusion of technology, artistry and live performance
Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) will take to the skies for the first time this year with a 600-drone performance. This collaboration of technology, artistry and creativity will deliver an audio-visual experience every evening from 3-5 February at 6:30pm, illuminating the sky above the South Access of the Fira de Barcelona Gran Vía.
"For over twenty years, ISE has been dedicated to redefining the limits of imagination and achievement within our industry. This year, we are elevating that mission – literally – by bringing our vision to the skies for the very first time in our 22-year history,” explains Mike Blackman, managing director of ISE.
Produced by LANG AG, this synchronised performance of light and sound will feature advanced drone choreography and dynamic visual storytelling. The performance will be accompanied by the talent of live musicians, an opera singer and a digital artist for a multisensory experience. For this performance, live visuals of the drone formations will be synchronised with real-time graphics on the ISE South Access Welcome Screen, an invisible 193 sq m LED display powered by MUXWAVE and RealTime Department.
"ISE is a highlight for us every year, but the 2026 edition will be something truly special. Together with the show organisers and our long-standing partner RealTime Department, we're creating an activation at the South Access that showcases the full potential of drone shows," says Marta Germes, director of Event Drones at LANG AG.
Supported by DAMM and sponsors Absen, Christie, MA Lighting and Clay Paky, these drone shows relate to ISE 2026’s Push Beyond theme, which focuses on breaking the boundaries of innovation. This initiative is one of many, like the Innovation Park, that aim to drive sectors at the show.
Registration for ISE 2026 is now open. You can reserve your spot at iseurope.org/welcome/registration
