SLS Production wowed festival-goers at the inaugural Offlimits Music festival in Abu Dhabi with Infiled LED wall technology
Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Park transformed into an immersive AV spectacle in April 2025, powered by Infiled technology. Billed as the UAE’s first open-format music festival, Offlimits Music Festival welcomed global artists including Ed Sheeran, OneRepublic and Kaiser Chiefs across four stages.
Technical production was managed by SLS Production, which was responsible for delivering audio, video and lighting, as well as ensuring a premium experience for the international artist lineup.
One of the standout features of the festival was found on the Meteor stage. Using Infiled GX4.6 outdoor panels, a huge LED wall was built to provide a high-impact, daylight-resilient backdrop for artists. The panels were configured into a custom, curved layout using specially engineered mounting plates, creating a bold panoramic display.
The ambitious scale of the installation came with logistical challenges. Shafeeq Bin Shereef, SLS's senior video engineer for the event, explained these difficulties, “The tilted LED design required elevated installation using boom lifts, which was time-consuming and logistically complex.”

The signal and patching of the extensive LED system took longer than expected
However, coordinated efforts and Infiled’s remote support helped to overcome these challenges and meet tight deadlines. Bin Shereef also praised the versatility of the GX4.6 system. Infiled’s technology supported effortlessly playback and fast switching between media sources, allowing a mix of live visuals, real-time content and animated videos to be synchronised with the performances.
“We received overwhelmingly positive feedback from both the organizers and the audience,” concluded Bin Shereef. “The Meteor stage LED set-up was particularly praised for its visual impact, clarity, and immersive design, solidifying its role as one of the most visually impressive elements of the festival.”
Offlimits Music Festival will return in 2026 following the success of the debut event. In the meantime, other productions have been making use of Infiled’s smooth LED panels – Hamburg’s MJ the Musical being one of them.
