HK Audio delivers the beats for Rock in the Jungle
HK Audio recently helped to deliver an unforgettable experience at Malaysia’s annual Rock in the Jungle festival using a Cosmo concert sound system
From its humble beginnings nine years ago, Rock in the Jungle has rapidly become an iconic event in the Sarawak Cultural Village in Malaysia. At the most recent iteration of this two-day celebration, HK Audio was used to power the show's audio.
As the festival brought together a combination of local Malaysian and international rock artists from Indonesia and Singapore, the FOH system needed to deliver a powerful performance. Considering the humid conditions of Sarawak Cultural Village, HK Audio’s concert sound family was a clear choice.
The main PA hangs comprised eight Cosmo C10 and four Cosmo C6 per side. Side fill came from a pair of Linear 5 MK2 115XAs and six LSub 4000As, while another set of 115XAs handled front fill with ease.
With powerful bass, crystal-clear highs and a balanced sound across the entire area, organisers, artists and audiences were able to enjoy the performances of bands like Wings and Sweet Charity to the fullest.
On stage, monitoring was via 10 Sonar 115Xi wedges to ensure pristine sound for the performers
